What is the differences of non fiction stories and short stories ?

Please list as many as you can please if you dont know what I am talking about heres an example short stories talks about a lot of subjects and a nonfiction story only talks about 1 subject please help me thanks :)

I think the difference is that some short stories are fictional and some non fiction stories are not just stories but turned to novels. Gets?hehehe
