My Panasonic has visual (blinking light) for message alert, which many times, goes unnoticed for an extended period of time.

I have a V-tech cordless phone with an answering machine that has an audible message alert, but it's an older model and I am looking for an upgraded phone with the same feature. I found a wealth of information on the Vtech site and they seem to have quite a few cordless phones with this feature. See the link below. It's a list of phones that will beep when you have a message waiting. You can click on "manual" and take a look at the setup. Hope this helps!
